Every Litle Pups placement begins with a real conversation — a written application, a lifestyle review by our placement team, a reference check, and only then a deposit. No add-to-cart. No impulse clicks. Maltese, Yorkie, Pomeranian, Morkie, and Cavapoo puppies are hand-raised in our Lancaster County home and placed with approved families across 38 states.

Before you begin
What reserving a puppy actually looks like.
Reserving a puppy from Litle Pups is not the same as buying a product online. It is the first step in a thoughtful placement process we have refined since 2011 — one that protects the puppy, the family, and the long-term bond between them.
When you reserve, you are not committing to a specific dog. You are telling us about your home, your daily rhythm, and the kind of companion you hope to share the next fifteen years with. Our placement team — led by a second-generation breeder and reviewed by our on-staff veterinarian — reads every application personally and pairs you with a puppy whose temperament, age, and energy level genuinely fits the life you described.
The application is short. Most families finish it in about twenty minutes. The deposit, placed only after your application is approved and your match is confirmed, is non-refundable but fully transferable to a future litter or a different approved family. We do this on purpose: it keeps impulse decisions out of the picture and gives every puppy a stable start.
If you are still deciding whether a toy puppy is right for your home right now, that is a perfectly good reason to wait. The deposit is not a sale — it is a handshake between your family and ours, built on a conversation we are glad to have.

How it works
The four stages of every reservation.
Nothing is finalized until the fourth step. Each stage is a chance for us to learn about you — and for you to learn about the puppy you may be welcoming home.

Apply
You share your home, your household, your work-from-home rhythm, prior pet experience, and the kind of companion you hope for. Takes about twenty minutes. Reviewed by a person, not a system.

Match
Our placement team reads your application alongside our current litter notes and introduces you to one or two puppies whose temperament, age, and energy genuinely fit. A short placement call follows.

Reference
Your veterinarian and one personal reference confirm your home is ready. For therapy-dog handlers and repeat families, this step is condensed. Nothing about your references is shared back to you.

Reserve
Once matched and approved, you place a deposit to hold your puppy. It is non-refundable but transferable. Your puppy stays with us through 16 weeks of crate training and socialization before delivery.
Every Litle Pups puppy leaves our home microchipped, vaccinated through 16 weeks, started on the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy curriculum, and examined three times by our on-staff DVM — at 8, 12, and 16 weeks.
